Shirin has spent her career navigating the spaces where architecture meets urbanism, where craft meets interior design, and where planning meets storytelling — through design, research, teaching, and travel.

She founded Built Upon after recognizing a gap: many high-end developments and luxury brands, but few that weave cultural memory, design elegance, and place-making into one seamless experience.
